CAPITOL HILL — In case you've missed it, Utah's lawmakers have been hard at work for the past month or so on Capitol Hill.
But in between all the committee meetings and debates that take up the legislative session, they had time for some educational fun. In a video posted Wednesday, several members of Utah's House of Representatives explain how laws are made... to the tune of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."
Our representatives have taken the time to explain how a law is made...with a surprise twist. Give it a listen and share so all your friends can know how laws are made! #utpol@GHughes51@BradWilsonGOP@kimfcoleman@NormThurston@mikemckellutah@RepJimDunnigan@JohnKnotwellUTpic.twitter.com/KqaUSqOKtC

The video is appropriately titled "Fresh Prints of Bills Here," and features individuals like Utah House Speaker Greg Hughes, Reps. Brad Wilson, R-Kaysville, Kim Coleman, R-West Jordan, Norm Thurston, R-Provo, and others, rapping. Or, well, attempting to rap...
We definitely give them props for trying, and hey, after watching you'll probably know a little more about how laws are created! But we're also thinking there won't be a new "Fresh Prince" TV show remake coming out of Capitol Hill anytime soon.
Regardless, the video is fun and a nice way to see the lighter side of things during the Legislature. If the Utah representatives' rapping doesn't make you smile, the Comic Sans captions are sure to bring you some happiness. Enjoy.
