OGDEN — A 28-year-old man was shot in the leg Wednesday evening by an acquaintance who fired at his car, and police are trying to find the suspect.
The victim was brought to a nearby hospital in serious but stable condition, the Ogden Police Department said in a prepared statement. Police had not released the name of those involved as of late Wednesday.
The two knew each other and were talking outside their cars about 5:50 p.m. in the 2400 block of F Avenue, police said. As the one man got in his car, the shooter fired multiple times from his own vehicle. Officers say the alleged shooter then drove west on 24th Street.
Police did not provide further details but said anyone with information should call 801-629-8221.
