PROVO -- ESPN/True Hoop writers were asked who was the most disappointing rookie so far this season in the NBA and it was an almost unanimous vote for the Kings' Jimmer Fredette.
Disappointment is name of their game (ESPN): "Kharpertian: I understand his not functioning as a particularly good passer, rebounder, ball handler, etc. But wasn't he supposed to score in bunches, at the very least? Mahoney: Fredette has failed to even vaguely resemble an NBA playmaker or defender."
Jazz vs. Jimmer
Jimmer's NBA hometown newspaper has a more positive spin on his latest performance (20 points vs. the Memphis Grizzlies).
Game slowing down for Jimmer Fredette (Sacramento Bee): "Fredette is starting to look more like himself on the court. It's only been two games in terms of his scoring, but during the last road trip, Fredette began to attack more and not turn down good looks. Fredette is starting to show us some of what he might be able to do as his career progresses."
