BOISE, Idaho (AP) — About a dozen community members have donated to a former Boise family living in Nepal after the country was hit by the worst earthquake it's seen in decades.
The Idaho Statesman reports (http://bit.ly/1bvHBVu) Bijaya Pudasaini, her husband Yogendra Poudel and their young daughter moved to Nepal in November to take care of family.
Erin Thompson, a family friend, started the GoFundMe page when he learned the family was spending the night on the street and had lost many of their belongings after the quake and the aftershock that hit Sunday.
The family owned MoMo Food of the Himalayas in Meridian before they moved back to Nepal. Their GoFundMe account is $250 short of its $1,000 goal.
