Lance Bandley reporting SALT LAKE CITY (AP/KSL News) -- Relief in a Holladay neighborhood, after police say an elderly woman died of natural causes. Investigators initially thought the death was suspicious.

Neighbors have been nervous all day hearing that one of their close friends died and it might be suspicious.

"Two days ago, I noticed all her blinds were pulled, which seemed a little bit funny," says one neighbor.

Now the report from the coroner's office shows that 77 year old Lois Dalley likely died of natural causes. Neighbor Margie Berry says she's sad to lose a friend but is relieved she wasn't murdered, as initially thought.

"She was just a really, really nice lady. She kept to herself a lot, but she did come over once in a while and visit. Just an immaculate lady."

Sergeant Paul Jaroscak (Jero-sack) of the Salt Lake County Sheriff's office says conditions in the home and information from first responders to the scene concerned them. That's why they initially were investigating the death as possibly involving foul play.

Jaroscak says the autopsy report shows no traumatic injury or foul play and suggest the death was from natural causes -- possibly cardiac arrest.

Police were called to the home after a relative discovered the 77-year-old woman's body when checking on her last night.

The woman hadn't been seen since Saturday.

Neighbors say that the woman was an original member of the mobile home community located along 1300 East Van Winkle Expressway.
