TOOELE, Utah (AP) -- A 42-year-old woman who works for the Tooele County School District faces charges of having sex with two high school students.

Leslie Baird, 42, was charged Monday with two counts of first-degree felony forcible sodomy, second-degree felony forcible sexual abuse and two misdemeanor counts of unlawfully supplying alcohol to a minor.

Baird was also charged with three third-degree felony counts of dealing harmful material to a minor for text messages found on the students' phones.

The district suspended Baird, who was not a teacher but did work with students in a computer lab.

Police said they received a complaint on Saturday that Baird sent explicit text messages to a high school student.

Parents of another student filed a second complaint on Sunday accusing Baird of meeting their 17-year-old son in a parking lot and supplying him with alcohol.

Baird had been employed by the district for six years, first as a special education aide in 2000 and then in 2004 at her current position.

Messages left for a Leslie Baird south of Tooele and for Baird's defense attorney, William Parsons III, were not immediately returned Tuesday.

In January, a substitute teacher in the district was charged with felony sexual battery involving a Tooele High School student. She pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of sexual battery and is scheduled to be sentenced in September.
