SALT LAKE CITY -- Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon's campaign for governor has passed the $2 million fundraising mark.
Officials made the announcement Saturday night at a town hall meeting at Westminster College where Corroon answered questions about the economy, education and his goals.
A campaign spokeswoman said the donations show just how much support Corroon has going into the final stretch of his candidacy.
"Over 5,000 individual donations show just how much support Peter Corroon has as he enters the final stretch in his candidacy to be the next governor of Utah," said Stella Thurkill. "Momentum is building and support is growing."
