MANTI — One woman died after two cars collided at the intersection of 200 N. Main St. in Manti Sunday night.
A green passenger vehicle and white SUV crashed around 11:50 p.m. after the green car failed to stop at the intersection and the white SUV hit its side, Utah Highway Patrol said.
The driver of the green passenger car was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered critical injuries during the crash, according to Utah Highway Patrol. She was flown by medical helicopter to a local hospital but died before arriving.
The two occupants of the white vehicle were wearing their seatbelts and were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The victim's name has not yet been released, pending family notification.
