SALT LAKE CITY — Utah jumped up again in the national rankings Sunday after beating UCLA on the road in a 52-45 victory.

The Utes moved up to No. 17 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll and to No. 16 in the USA Today Amway Coaches Poll, jumping up two spots in both polls from last week.

Washington, who dismantled Oregon State 41-17 at home, moved up to No. 4 in the AP Poll and Coaches Poll and remains the favorite from the Pac-12 to reach the College Football Playoffs. Joining Washington and Utah in the rankings is Colorado at No. 23 in the AP and Coaches Poll after a low-scoring 10-5 win over Stanford.

Washington State, who beat Arizona State 37-32, and USC, which had a bye last week, are the only teams from the Pac-12 receiving votes in the Coaches Poll.

Alabama remains the No. 1 team in the country after beating then No. 6 Texas A&M 33-14. The remaining top five saw some shakeup after former No. 2 Ohio State lost 24-21 to unranked Penn State. Behind Alabama in the rankings is Michigan, Clemson, Washington and Louisville in both polls.

Arkansas and Ole Miss were the only two teams ranked last week that fell out of the rankings.

Highlighting the week in Top 25 matchups is No. 16 Utah and No. 4 Washington, with No. 7 Nebraska and No. 11 Wisconsin as a close second. No. 3 Clemson and No. 12 Florida State will also be a top game to watch this week.

Utah will welcome Washington and ESPN’s “College GameDay” to town Saturday. Kickoff is expected at 1:30 p.m. on Fox Sport 1.
