Alright, gentlemen, be sure to take note—and ladies, be sure to show this to the men in your life.

Since women make 80 percent of the health decisions for American families, why don’t we spoil them more often? The decisions they make and the skills they have very well may save your life if they haven’t already.

On May 8th, we celebrated Mother’s Day. But what’s next? Do you have anything else lined up to show your appreciation?

Ladies Night Out

Here’s an idea. Mark June 3 from 6 – 9 p.m. on your calendar and plan to give your wife, mom, daughters, neighbors and sisters the night off from their usual Friday night activities by sending them up to Alta View Hospital’s 4th Annual Ladies Night Out.

“Ladies Night Out is intended to be a care-free night for women to come and have a good time while learning about health and wellness,” said Jill Teuscher, RN, nurse manager in Labor & Deliver at Alta View Hospital. “This is our fourth straight year hosting this event, and it’s something that women in the community look forward to. Our mission as a hospital is to Help People Live the Healthiest Lives Possibleâ, and the same goes for this event. We want women to leave here having had a fun, relaxing time and empowered to help themselves and their families live the healthiest lives possible.”

Participants can pre-register here if they want to save some time.

Theme: Garden Party!

The night will be full of pampering, food, fun, and good health with free massages, crafts, giveaways, and classes on health and wellness.

Physicians and other medical experts will be available to answer questions about:

  • Heart health
  • Nutrition
  • Pregnancy
  • Menopause
  • Plastic surgery
  • Laser hair removal
  • Sleep problems
  • Joint pain
  • Varicose veins
  • Cancer screenings
  • Exercise
  • Colonoscopies
  • Healthy skin
  • Allergies
  • Breastfeeding
  • Children’s health
  • and more!
Remember men, giving the women in your life a night out is a worthwhile endeavor. They’ll come back refreshed, filled, happy and ready to act the next time you have a medical emergency.

Ladies, see you Friday, June 3rd! Be sure to bring your mom, sisters, daughters and friends. Admission to this community event is FREE. If you have questions, please contact Kris Beldin at (801) 501-2795 or kris.beldin@imail.org.
