CENTERVILLE — High winds caused several power outages in Davis County on Saturday night.

The wind gusted around 50-60 miles per hour throughout Centerville and Bountiful. Branches were down and piles of them were blowing across streets. Power and traffic lights were out, including all traffic lights on Parrish Lane and Chase Lane.

Over 2,300 people were without power in the Centerville and West Bountiful area as of Saturday night because of wind-related damage to power lines. Rocky Mountain Power estimated the power to be back on just before 2 a.m.

Police are reminding drivers to treat lights that are out as a 4-way stop.
