SALT LAKE CITY — Kanako Ford plays a koto before a tea ceremony at the 11th annual Nihon Matsuri Japan Festival in Salt Lake City on Saturday.

The free festival featured traditional tea ceremonies, Anime, Japanese dance, martial arts demonstrations, taiko drumming, a kimono fashion show and Japanese-American history exhibits.

A variety of Japanese specialty food were available, including sushi, teriyaki chicken, beef sukiyaki and manju.
