SALT LAKE CITY — The Pac-12 announced its all-conference football teams Tuesday, and 11 University of Utah players were honored.

Of the 11 players honored by the conference, four were named to the conference's first team, including three-time honoree Tom Hackett, who was named a first-team specialist. The defense had three players named to the conference's first team, including defensive lineman Lowell Lotulelei, linebacker Gionni Paul and defensive back Marcus Williams.

Senior linebacker Jared Norris was the only other defensive player named, but to the second team.

The conference was deep in talent on the offensive side of the ball, particularly at the running back where Stanford's Christian McCaffrey and Oregon's Royce Freeman claimed first-team honors. As a result, senior running back Devontae Booker was named to the second team. Also included in the second team on offense was offensive lineman J.J. Dielman.

Utah had four players named as honorable mentions at their respective positions, including offensive lineman Isaac Asiata, return specialist Britain Covey, defensive lineman Jason Fanaika and place-kicker Andy Phillips.

The conference players of the year will be announced at a later time. The honors are selected by the conference's head coaches.
