TAYLORSVILLE — Rocky Mountain Power crews restored power to more than 1,500 customers after a crash knocked out electricity early Thursday morning.

Police say just before midnight a car lost control, clipped a power pole and ended up in the bushes at about 4800 South and 2200 West in Taylorsville.

The crash left more than 1,500 customers without power for several hours. Crews worked through the night and restored power just before 6 a.m.

The two people in the car were not seriously injured, according to police.
