SCARY YELLOWSTONE — Yellowstone is known for its majestic vistas and stunning wildlife. We’re supposed to just sit back and enjoy the scenery, but Tom Carter ended up getting a little too personal with some Yellowstone residents.

Carter was in a car with a friend when three bison that were on the road started running towards him. Carter figured the bison would get close and then run around the vehicle, but this bison wanted to make a point.

The animal didn’t stop and rammed the car. According to the USA Today, the vehicle suffered nearly $3,000 worth of damage. The bison? Well, he needed about two seconds to shake it off and move on with his day.

Carter and his friend stayed incredibly calm during the whole thing, and for some reason, I can listen to Carter say, “Don’t run into our car!” a thousand times and I will laugh every time. Not that I’m laughing at their misfortune, but rather at the fact that I’d do the exact same thing — try to reason with a wild animal in a calm voice from inside my car. I’m not great with animals, but I understand Carter actually used to work at Yellowstone.

Check out the video and be amazed and grateful that no humans or animals were hurt. Carter’s friend’s Nissan XTerra is another story.
