MURRAY — A jeep slammed into a business in Murray early Wednesday morning, injuring two people and leaving behind a big mess.
Murray police believe a medical emergency caused the driver of the jeep to hit the accelerator, sending the vehicle into the Uptown Cheapskate apparel store at 264 E. Winchester St. around 1 a.m.
No one was inside the store at the time, but two people inside the jeep were taken to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries, police said.
The impact left substantial debris outside and inside the store, police said.
