SOUTH SALT LAKE — Police are looking for four men accused of robbing a dollar store at knifepoint.

Around 8:30 p.m., three males entered the Family Dollar Store on 2755 S. State St. in South Salt Lake. As they approached a checkout stand, one of the men jumped over the counter, pulled out a knife and held it at a female clerk's throat, police said in a news release. The man with the knife demanded money while the other two men stood as lookouts, police said.

After the clerk gave the men all the money from the register, they ran out the door to a waiting vehicle, described as a dark SUV with centennial plates that is possibly a Jeep Cherokee.

The second suspect is a white male, around 18 to 20 years old with black hair, wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and dark shoes. The other man who served as a lookout is described as a white/Hispanic male, also 18 to 20 years old with a light-colored beard. He is 5 feet 6 inches, 150 pounds and was wearing a gray sweatshirt, gray workout pants and black shoes.

The driver of the getaway car is described as a black male with dark hair in short dreadlocks.
