SYDNEY (AP) — Britain's Prince William and his wife, Kate, have enjoyed a sheep-shearing demonstration and greeted crowds of flower-bearing fans at an agricultural fair in Sydney.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent Friday morning at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, an annual fair that brings country life to the city with animals, rides and wood-chopping competitions.
Later Friday, the royal couple will visit a children's hospice and enjoy a sunny afternoon at the beach.
William and Kate are on a three-week tour of New Zealand and Australia. Their itinerary includes seeing local wildlife at Sydney's harbor side zoo and traveling to Uluru, the iconic red sandstone monolith in the Outback.
