LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Wind gusts of up to 90 mph knocked out power and downed trees in Laramie in southeast Wyoming.
The National Weather Service recorded a number of wind gusts in excess of 60 mph in Albany and Laramie counties on Tuesday afternoon and evening.
Wind damage was also reported in the Casper area.
The high wind was accompanied in some places by scattered thunderstorms that dropped small hail.
