TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A scam on Facebook is using the name and image of the College of Southern Idaho.
KMVT-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2dyat0B ) that the scam is for a student debt relief program.
College spokesman Doug Maughan says the offer is too good to be true.
He says CSI recommends saltmoney.org to students who are struggling with student loans and debt.
Maughan says the college has not given permission to use CSI in the advertisement.
He says it was a fraudulent use of the college's image and name.
He said they're taking the steps to get the image removed.
