SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) — The Latest on suspects arrested in a California triple killing (all times local):

12:40 p.m.

Two young men have been charged with multiple murder counts in the slayings of a California couple and a family friend.

Orange County prosecutors on Tuesday charged 21-year-old Army Pfc. Joshua Acosta and 25-year-old Frank Felix with three counts of murder each.

Prosecutors allege that Acosta was the gunman in the killings of 39-year-old Jennifer Yost, her husband, 34-year-old Christopher Yost, and their friend Arthur Boucher.

A district attorney's statement says the killings occurred when Acosta and Felix entered the Yosts' Fullerton home early Saturday.

Arraignment is expected later Tuesday.

It was not immediately possible to reach Felix or Acosta, who were being held at the Orange County Men's Central Jail on $1 million bail.

Officials say one of two men arrested in the killings of a California couple and a family friend is an active-duty U.S. Army soldier.

Army spokesman Wayne Hall at the Pentagon confirmed Tuesday that 21-year-old Joshua Acosta is a private first class stationed at Fort Irwin, California, since last October.

Acosta and 25-year-old Frank Felix were arrested after the weekend discovery of the bodies of Jennifer and Christopher Yost and family friend Arthur "Billy" Boucher in a Fullerton home.

It was not immediately possible to reach Felix or Acosta, who were being held at the Orange County Men's Central Jail on $1 million bail.

Felix's father has said he did not know whether his son had an attorney but was a "good kid" who worked different jobs and lived at his family's home in Sun Valley, California.
