PROVO, Utah (AP) — The Latest on a Utah man whose conviction of killing his wife was overturned (all times local):

A Utah man who will get a new trial on accusations he killed his wife after the conviction was recently overturned will remain in jail on $1 million cash bail.
Utah State Judge Samuel McVey denied Conrad Truman's request to be let out or have bail lowered after a hearing Tuesday in Provo, Utah.
Judge McVey says there's still probable cause that Truman committed the crime, while acknowledging that the inaccurate measurements presented by authorities of the Truman house that led him to previously overturn the conviction raise other questions for a jury that will get the case on retrial.
Truman's attorney, Mark Moffat, said that mistake casts doubt on the entire investigation and shows his client wasn't lying when he said he found his wife Heidy Truman dead after she left to take a shower. His attorneys argued at trial she killed herself.
Truman has always maintained his innocence.
Prosecutor Tim Taylor countered that the overall breadth of evidence still backs the accusation that Truman killed his wife.

A judge will consider whether a Utah man found guilty of killing his wife should go free after his murder conviction was overturned — even though prosecutors are planning to put him on trial again.
Lawyers for Conrad Truman are set to argue Tuesday that he's now presumed innocent and there's no reason to keep him behind bars.
The bail hearing comes after Judge Samuel McVey overturned the guilty verdict. He ruled that inaccurate measurements of the Truman house wrongly undermined the defense theory that Heidy Truman fatally shot herself.
Prosecutors acknowledged the measuring mistake but said it was a harmless error. Truman is set to go back on trial Nov. 1.
The 34-year-old Orem man has maintained his innocence, saying he found his wife's body after she left to take a shower.
