FRANKLIN, N.H. (AP) — A newly expanded substance abuse treatment center is opening in Franklin, New Hampshire.

Easter Seals Farnum Center adding 40 beds to its Webster Place facility, bringing the total number of beds to 63.

The center broke ground on the expansion last fall.

Easter Seals offers treatment services in two separate locations, Farnum Center in Manchester and Farnum North in Franklin. This renovation completes the transition from peer recovery services to a fully licensed clinical program at Webster Place in Franklin. This will allow the facility to be fully flexible to handle a variety of inpatient and outpatient needs.

A ceremony celebrating the expansion is scheduled Tuesday.
