WARRENSBURG, Mo. (AP) — The president of the University of Central Missouri has been hospitalized after a bicycle crash in Colorado.
University spokesman Jeff Murphy told the Warrensburg Daily Star-Journal (http://j.mp/296ORal ) that 54-year-old Charles Ambrose was injured in the crash Wednesday in Grand County, Colorado. He says Ambrose went bicycling on a trail when the wreck occurred. He suffered a broken pelvis.
Grand County EMT and Rescue transported Ambrose to a hospital in Denver.
Murphy says Ambrose was on vacation with his wife and daughter.
