NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) — Police say a North Las Vegas officer has escaped injury after being shot at during a vehicle pursuit.
Police spokesman Aaron Patty says officers had responded Wednesday morning to a disturbance call when they came across three men leaving the area in a vehicle. Officers began following the vehicle and shots were fired from the suspects' SUV.
Patty says the officer was not struck by gunfire and did not return fire.
The three men had abandoned the vehicle and fled. One suspect was arrested, and the two other men stole a pickup truck.
The suspects have not yet been caught.
