LEWISTON, Idaho (AP) — A northern Idaho man has pleaded guilty to killing his 5-month-old son.

The Lewiston Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/293pAxP) that 21-year-old Cody Gossage pleaded guilty Tuesday in 2nd District Court to second-degree murder.

Gossage told Judge Jay P. Gaskill that he became frustrated and picked up Jordan B. Bigman-Gossage and shook him in October 2014 at his Lewiston home.

A pediatrician at a previous hearing testified that the infant's injuries included bleeding in both eyes, skull tissue hemorrhaging, brain swelling and respiratory failure.

Gossage is being held in the Nez Perce County Jail.

A sentencing date hasn't been set.
