COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Authorities say a man has been shot and wounded in the parking lot of a South Carolina shopping mall.
Richland County deputies said in a news release that the man was wounded in the lower body Saturday outside the Columbia Mall. Authorities say the man was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. His name was not released.
No one else was hurt, and no arrests have been made. No other details were immediately released.
The Columbia Mall remained open after the shooting and deputies say no one inside was threatened.
