DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — DFL'er Liz Olson is the first candidate to enter the race for the Minnesota House District 7B seat.

Rep. Erik Simonson currently holds the spot and he announced his bid for the Senate District 7 seat last month.

WDIO-TV (http://bit.ly/1Q5ahS0 ) says Olson kicked off her campaign Monday night in Duluth. Olson has received endorsements from former Lt. Gov. Yvonne Prettner Solon and the teachers' union Education Minnesota.

Olson says she's working to promote living wage jobs with good benefits, access to health care and well-funded public education.
