TOPPENISH, Wash. (AP) — Depending on blood test results, Washington State Patrol says the Wapato driver involved in a fatal crash near Toppenish could face criminal charges.

The Yakima Herald-Republic reports (http://bit.ly/1Mw5fkH ) that a search warrant was issued Sunday to obtain a blood test from the 19-year-old driver. She is not currently in custody but intoxicants are suspected as a factor in the crash.

On Sunday, 36-year-old Angela Walker and 35-year-old Kyle Walker, both of Toppenish, were killed when the 19-year-old drove through a stop sign, slamming into the pair's car. Both Walkers were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two passengers in the younger woman's car were taken to Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center, where they were treated for minor injuries.
