TENSED, Idaho (AP) — A 13-year-old girl has died in a two-vehicle collision in northern Idaho.

Idaho State Police say Kalkidan Qualls died Saturday after the van in which she was riding slid into oncoming traffic on U.S. Highway 95 north of Tensed.

Police say Russell Qualls was northbound when he lost control. A southbound 2008 Subaru struck the van in the passenger side, causing the van to roll.

Russell Qualls, 51, and passenger Lisa Qualls, 50, were taken to Kootenai Health in Coeur d'Alene.

Police say the driver and passenger in the Subaru were not injured.

Police say all involved were wearing seatbelts.
