LAS VEGAS (AP) — A court date was reset to Monday for a 24-year-old Las Vegas man facing a felony hit-and-run charge after authorities say he backed a car into two car wash employees earlier this month and drove away.

Christopher Blalark's appearance Friday before a Las Vegas justice of the peace was postponed.

Police say 29-year-old Francisco Luis Lorenzo and 26-year-old Jairo Navarro were cleaning a vehicle Dec. 11 when they were struck by a 1980s-era Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera that backed into them.

The incident was recorded on car wash security video showing Lorenzo writhing on the ground while the white Oldsmobile drives away.

Authorities say Lorenzo suffered back and leg injuries and had broken teeth. Navarro was treated for minor injuries.

A defense lawyer listed in Blalark's court record didn't immediately respond Friday to messages.
