FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Fargo police are searching for a man who attacked three North Dakota State University students in an off-campus apartment.
Police Lt. Joel Vettel says the man entered an unlocked door of the ground-floor apartment about 7:45 p.m. Saturday and ordered the women to strip at knifepoint.
Vettel says the man sexually assaulted at least one of the women, and one woman was injured during a struggle. Vettel says the three women ran from the apartment and contacted another tenant, who called 911.
The women were taken to a hospital.
The attacker is described as a white man in his 20s or 30s, standing 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9, with a thin build. He was wearing a black coat, dark pants, blue gloves and had a black cloth over his face.
