HANOVER, N.H. (AP) — College and university officials from around the country will join students, nonprofit groups and others at Dartmouth College for a summit on sexual assault.
The conference Monday and Tuesday will allow participants to discuss best practices in preventing and responding to sexual violence on campus. Presenters will include national experts and representatives from several federal agencies.
Dartmouth is among 55 colleges and universities being investigated by the federal education department for how it handles sexual harassment and assault complaints. In addition to taking other steps, it recently overhauled its system for handling sexual assaults.
