ELKO, Nev. (AP) — Elko County sheriff's deputies are investigating a single-vehicle rollover accident that killed a 22-year-old Spring Creek man.
Undersheriff Clair Morris says Joseph Nathanial Delbridge was partially ejected and died at the scene of the accident Tuesday night.
Morris told the Elko Daily Free Press (http://tinyurl.com/l6xkzhx ) that investigators suspect Delbridge was driving too fast when he overturned at the intersection of Lyndhurst Drive and Country Club Parkway.
Morris said they will take a blood sample but there's nothing to suggest so far that he was driving under the influence. He said it's not clear if Delbridge was wearing a seatbelt, but that it's unusual for someone wearing a seat belt to be ejected from a vehicle. He says the investigation is continuing.
