LAS VEGAS (AP) — McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas was as busy last month as it's been in nearly a decade.
The Clark County Department of Aviation says the 3.9 million airline passengers marked a 3.4 percent increase over April 2015 — the most for the month since 2007.
The department says a slight decline in international travel was offset by continued growth in domestic flights at the ninth-busiest airport in the country.
Carriers from Europe and Asia continued to grow last month, but significant declines were reported by carriers serving Mexico, Canada and South America.
