Judit Slezak Returns to HR Certification Institute as New Director of Marketing

ALEXANDRIA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr 21, 2014--The HR Certification Institute (the Institute), the internationally recognized certifying body for the HR profession, announced today that Judit Slezak has joined the organization as its director of marketing. Slezak previously worked at the Institute as the manager of global marketing and global program manager. In her current role, she will report to Thomas Nordby, CAE, chief operating officer.

Slezak’s role is to lead the Institute’s marketing team in support of both domestic and global expansion of certification programs. She is an integral part of the Institute’s leadership team, working to achieve the organizational goals and objectives tied to the Institute’s strategic plan.

Slezak is an accomplished business professional with more than 15 years of experience in marketing and event management. She was most recently with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and has held marketing and sales positions at Prudential Financial Inc., Bombardier Aerospace and Apollos. She earned her MBA with a concentration in management from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, and a BA in German and Russian Studies from Juhasz Gyula University in Szeged, Hungary. Slezak holds a Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) Certification and is a Six Sigma Analyst I, II.

Slezak also is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the American Marketing Association, the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council and the Virtual Edge Institute.
