ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — The University of Michigan is moving forward with plans for a $135 million addition to its business school and other construction projects.
The Ann Arbor News reports the school's Board of Regents on Thursday approved designs for the addition to the Stephen M. Ross School of Business. The approval comes five years after the Ann Arbor school opened its $145 million business facility.
The project calls for demolition of one academic building, construction of a new one, renovations to the business administration library and other work.
The Michigan Daily reports the board also approved plans to give North Campus a $6.9 million outdoor face-lift as part of the North Campus Grove Project. The school also is planning a $2.3 million upgrade to Building 28 on its North Campus Research Complex.
