MILEY CYRUS CANCELING MORE SHOWS
NEW YORK (AP) — Those with plans to see Miley Cyrus perform in concert this weekend will need to make other plans. The singer has postponed more shows because she's ill. She is hospitalized after suffering a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics. Because she's on the mend, a rep says the singer won't do her show tonight in Nashville, Tennessee or tomorrow night in Louisville, Kentucky. Earlier this week, she missed shows in St. Louis and Kansas City — and put off a date in Charlotte, North Carolina last week because she had the flu. Her next scheduled concert is Monday — when she is supposed to play in Philadelphia.

CHRIS BROWN EXPECTED TO GO ON TRIAL TODAY
WASHINGTON (AP) — Chris Brown's misdemeanor case is expected to be tried today in Washington D.C. But before that happens, the trial of his bodyguard has to be completed. Both men face misdemeanor assault charges after their arrests in October. A man claims both the singer and his bodyguard punched him in the face, breaking his nose. During his opening arguments, the attorney for bodyguard Christopher Hollosy says the alleged victim is trying to "get rich" from the incident. The man has filed a $3 million lawsuit against the two men. But when he testified, Parker Adams says the lawsuit wasn't his idea — and that he didn't tell his lawyers how much to ask for.

4 NON BLONDES WILL DO ONE REUNION SHOW
NEW YORK (AP) — Linda Perry will reunite with 4 Non Blondes for one night only. They will perform at a May 10 benefit for the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center. Perry says normally she doesn't talk to her former bandmates and she never thought a reunion would happen. She called them because her attempts to get other singers to perform came up empty. Perry says it's "kind of sweet" to do a reunion now.
LORDE MEETS GEORGE BRETT
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Lorde (LORD) has finally met the man who inspired her biggest song. Baseball Hall of Famer George Brett stopped by her concert in Las Vegas this week. Major League Baseball and the Kansas City Royals both tweeted photos of the two together. Lorde has said she was inspired to write her song "Royals" after seeing a photo of Brett signing baseballs in his Royals jersey.
FABIAN HAS HEART OPERATION
UNDATED (AP) — Fabian is recovering from heart surgery. His wife, Andrea, writes on his Web site he had a valve replacement and a bypass on April 7 in Pittsburgh. She says he came through the surgery "beautifully" and plans to be back on stage performing in a few months.
''AMERICAN IDOL" SAYS GOOBYE TO DEXTER
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Dexter Roberts won't get to rattle the room after all on "American Idol." That was Jennifer Lopez's advice to him on Wednesday's show, but last night he was the one sent home. Keith Urban could be seen saying, "Oh my gosh," when Roberts was eliminated. Jessica Meuse (MYOOS) was also in the bottom two.

NEW HANK WILLIAMS MUSIC WILL BE RELEASED
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — It's considered "new" music — even though it has been around for close to 65 years. The recordings of country music legend Hank Williams were done for a taped show that aired on early country music stations — and sponsored by a Texas plant nursery. "The Garden Spot Programs, 1950" feature two dozen songs and jingles on tape. Most of the tapes were lost — but the copies from one station in Iowa survived. The recordings were transferred, restored and mastered for release. The project will be available starting May 20 for both download and on vinyl.
RECORD STORE DAY IS TOMORROW
UNDATED (AP) — If you're the type who prefers vinyl music over digital, tomorrow is your day. Acts like Devo, The Allman Brothers Band, Dolly Parton, Public Enemy, Korn and R.E.M. will have exclusive releases for Record Store Day. It's meant to help out independent record stores with releases not sold in big outlets. David Bowie will have a "1984" picture disc, and Harry Mancini's "The Pink Panther" will come out on pink vinyl. Vinyl will not be the only thing available. Eric Clapton, Tegan (TEE'-gan) and Sara and My Chemical Romance will issue T-shirts, Jake Bugg will release a live album on CD, and Green Day and Skrillex will have releases on cassette. DAVE MATTHEWS ADVOCATES EARTH FIRST
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Dave Matthews believes of all the things trying to grab people's attention, the one thing they should be aware of is the earth. Matthews says politics and war and power grab headlines, but all of that is nothing compared to the health of the planet. Matthews is a big supporter of The Jane Goodall Institute, which is a big supporter of the new Disney documentary "Bears." It's in theaters today. Earth Day is on Tuesday.

MUSICIANS PERFORM AT EARTH DAY EVENT
NEW YORK (AP) — Usually an event featuring Paul Simon, James Taylor and Dionne Warwick wouldn't see them mentioned as footnotes. But when the event also features former President Bill Clinton and actor Kevin Spacey, it makes more sense. All were on hand for a celebration in New York to mark the 25th annual Rain Forest Concert. And while Clinton and Spacey treated the audience to some light banter, the singers did their thing, too. Taylor performed his signature hit, "Fire and Rain," and later covered "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You.)" Paul Simon did a couple of his own songs, including "Graceland," and "The Boxer," and Dionne Warwick covered some of the Burt Bacharach tunes she helped make famous, including "Walk on By." Stephen Stills brought the crowd to its feet with the finale of the three-hour event: "Love the One You're With." He was joined by all the evening's performers.
THE STANDELLS PLAN TOUR
NEW YORK (AP) — The Standells will tour to support their first album in more than 40 years. The Standells will begin a tour April 27 in Charlotte, North Carolina. They recently released an album called "Bump." They're probably best known for the song "Dirty Water." Drummer Dick Dodd, who sang lead on that song, died in December.
THE LOST TRAILERS' JASON WYATT EXITS
NASHVILLE (AP) — Jason Wyatt is leaving The Lost Trailers. Wyatt wants to focus on his solo career and songwriting. He will also be a consultant and producer with "American Country Star," a singing competition for country artists. He will release a solo album toward the end of the year.
