While I agree it should be easy to get the information. It is irresponsible of the requester to not know what they are looking for and request everything. There is a massive expense to provide every business dealing that any city is involved in for several years. This could require the city to hire someone whose sole responsibility is to research the records and copy everything. The toner bill alone would scare me for that large of a request. The amount of time that is required to comply with GRAMA requests strains all resources. I find it ironic that they want to know where the city spends its money and then think nothing of straining a small towns resources on their own ill prepared request. Hypocrisy at its finest.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but, Governor Herbert is facing no serious threat from within the party. The 2 candidates that are running against him in party are garnering less that 1 percent combined. Mayor Corroon polls extremely poor statewide and the closest he has polled is behind by 33 percent. So bottom line is Governor Herbert is so far ahead that Vegas wouldn't give you odds on it. The Legislative session was smooth for the Governor, and Corroon has the tax (fees) bills now due for SL County Policing and 2 more rounds of these taxes before the election, this is certain to lose him votes.
My brother was a 4.0 GPA and got arrested all the time. GPA has nothing to do with it. I was only a 3.5 GPA and have never been in trouble. You are trying to mix oil and water with your argument that good grades keep you out of trouble. My brother flew through homework and aced tests without studying and had plenty of time to party. He is ok now and owns a successful business in another country and has stayed out of trouble. The point is kids will be kids no matter the GPA.
@Getsmartz-No matter the reason I am on my way there to check this story out in person.
You are a poor student of history. They did find out, as a matter of fact you might remember the gentleman who said lets roll and it was the last words his wife heard from him. She told him about the others via cell phone when he called her from the plane.
Completely not true! My best friend works for Beehive Bail bonds and he is busiest bailing people out starting Friday thru Sunday. 90% of arrests have a set bail schedule and often my friend has them out and home before the officer finishes his shift. What is sad, but true, is that you haven't a clue about how the system works.
