A major aid in finding things for sale close by. Thanks!
2009-12-09 13:33:15 How would you change ksl.com?
I like all the changes so far, in particular the search within x miles of a zip code. That makes things so much easier to find items close by. On the comments section, I feel the ignore feature is a much better way of handling some of the repeat trolls vs. slamming them with negative votes. My only concern is that eventually I won't see ANY comments once I ignore everyone who has said something offensive! *grin*
Maybe for this fellow the 30 Strikes and you're out policy will eventually kick in.

To clean the place up, require a credit card with a verified address to post in the classifieds and to make comments on the news stories. Charge a nominal fee like 50 cents a year on the credit card. If the numbers don't match up on the address then lock the account. Any trouble makers on the comments area or false registrations / abuse in the classifieds could easily be controlled by locking their account and mailing a password to the address on their credit card. If they have a stolen credit card then they won't be able to use the account anymore and the owner of the card would be notified that someone is using their card illegally.
Never leave all your eggs in one basket. Anything that is vital / important must be backed up and archived in a safe place.
The recluse has been found in Utah for at least 20 years that I know of. My friend had several DOZEN confirmed recluse spiders found in his house near Cedar City 15 years back, by professional exterminator, after he was bitten by one. A neighbor was bitten in st. George 20 years ago and unfortunately died from complications since the doctors had no clue what it was until it was too late. If anything there are more of them now than back then and they are moving North all the time.
