Cool to be COOL, but not so cool to be DEAD . So often kids throughout the generations have had to deal with their peers about LOOKING COOL and putting themselves and others in harms way in that process - when i was in high school way back in the 60's two of the coolest guys in school, driving around in a new 1967 Triumph Spitfire drinking alcohol ended up underneath a semi truck and both were decapitated. One of the boys father was an EMS tech that arrived on scene to treat them medically and some of their classmates happened to drive by. Never the less, this left a lasting impression on everyone who knew these guys. I pray no young person will EVER have to see a friend in this condition to learn this lesson. It is much too painful.
absolutely nothing wrong with OPPOSING VIEWS whether it be in the from of a question or a written opinion, if we try to staffle our youth we are sending the wrong message as a town and a nation. I do not necessarily agree with either position personal, that of the youth or Guiliani's position. That is why this is AMERICA we ALL have the right to think and form our own opinions on any subject matter. The school and the city both are wrong and are doing great harm to these young people involved and others who are witnessing this unfair treatment. WRONG MESSAGE BEING SENT
well i for one think, Jon J. Greiner from Ogden should be given this job by default because he is the only one there with an ounce of common sense and a CLEAN RECORDby default
the public has lobbyists too, they are called politians and are suppose to look after our special interest SOLELY, but sadly it seems so often our special interest is being sold out for hard cold cash to people who want to exploit us. This is beyond sad, it is criminal and must be addressed with much needed EHTIC REFORM NOW.
this young lady seems deeply troubled and I am not sure if it is ALL because of GARN only, whatever the case maybe I hope she gets the help she apparently needs so much.
sometimes it is better to show up with superior force , that alone can be a huge deterent to a would be BAD GUY. Thank GOD no one was hurt.
