Why ban it when it can be taxed? ;)
So what is it Conejo? Lose or win? I'll let it slide a little because it looks as though you posted this comment at 3 a.m. However, that does make me ask this: what in the world are you doing on the KSL comment board at that hour? I mean, yeah, I like the comment board, but I maybe comment once a week. Congrats, you got my once-a-week comment.
This one is just so easy that I don't need to even touch it. HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Perhaps just political hypocrites. I think the "Mormon prudes" actually like this judging by the poll.
The eduction committee should get the boot. First, they allow the district split between Canyons and Jordan, and then they turn down any legislation that would help make up for the $30 million shortfall Jordan faces. Granted, this bill along HB 292 wouldn't be a permanent fix, but either could save the jobs of hard working teachers and school employees. Utah is supposed to have the best family values, yes? Where are they? They certainly aren't coming out of the Utah Education System.
The sad part in the whole matter is that Utah's universities have some of the best programs in the country for training new teachers. They obviously can't get a job in Utah at this point, so those who graduate will move elsewhere if they can to find a job. Once Utah rebounds from these budget woes in public education, they may have problems filling up new job opening with good, experienced teachers because of the numbers that will leave from the next few graduating classes at the universities.
Hopefully the next few elections will see that whole board get turned around with some people who actually have a few functioning brain cells. Many people are disappointed, but really, what can we expect from a committee that has people like Chris Buttars?
Yeah, because a 26-win season seriously doesn't cut it. Please tell me you are not a fan of the sub-.500 Utes.
