The simple answer, Charles my friend, is that E-I-C doesn't have a straight face...just look at her picture.
Nice thought, julz, but unrealistic. Raising the tax on cigarettes (a dollar, I believe) may dissuade a few from partaking, but it would still place Utah amongst those states with the lowest price on them, and most smokers will continue to enjoy their habit...as is their right. I seldom have good things to say about our Governor, but I must applaud him for sticking to his promise to not raise taxes....we'll see how long he can maintain it....or how long until the legislature overrides him.
Sad indeed, Brian, but consider that we also have laws mandating child seats for the little ones, and laws requiring all automobile passengers to utilize seat belts....what next?...ban cell phones?
Agreed, Rifleman, but the more serious question is: how far will we go in allowing government intrusion into our lives?
