The question is - have you been in the cave? Just because a map is drawn does not mean those are the only passages in the cave. There are other tight areas in the cave that are not on the map.
I have been down there, and have pulled people out when they were stuck in ed's push area. A section of highway is only dangerous when you exceed your abilities. Danger is different for each person. My main point being that no one can say what is more dangerous since it is relative to the abilities of each person. To a small person ed's push isn't as dangerous. To a race car driver who has experience flying around corners who has a souped up car going 200 mph, that highway section isn't dangerous. There are other parts of the cave where people can get just as stuck. To close off one "dangerous" area means we should close off all "dangerous" areas. Who gets to decide what is dangerous? Accidents happen even on highways, but we don't close them down. Why can't we let people make their own choices and accept that some bad ones will be made or even mistakes will occur?
Before you judge make sure you have all the facts. I understand he thought he was in bob's push according to the map they had. bob's push opens up at the end. He was actually in ed's push, he kept going thinking he was in bob's push. Trully an accident. I think he was a great man who had an accident, accidents happen and they could even happen to you JimmyDean25!
You can't say one part of the cave is more dangerous than another. Dangerous is relative to each person, what is dangerous to one is not dangerous to another. There are plenty of places in the rest of the cave where accidents could happen just as easily. By sealing off a "dangerous" part of the cave will not remove danger. Sorry to say it but there is no way to remove danger. Accidents happen and we have to learn to deal with them. Closing the cave will not remove danger, danger(accidents) will happen at another cave.
How do you know this is where he's stuck? I've looked at other news articles and some say birth canal, and other's bob's push which is the same thing...so i wonder if they know that though. see map: http://www.nuttyputtycave.com/pdf/NuttyPuttyCaveMap1.pdf Bob's push is the small hole in the wall before you get to the aorta crawl(some people call this the birth canal). The aorta crawl is a small hole in the ceiling that takes a sharp turn and you have to keep your arms in front of you cause there's not enough room for them to be to the side.
You cannot be honest and unvirtuous at the same time.
