Essentially, we all are paying more for peak summer periods. I use my AC more, therefore I pay more. That's my choice. It's ironic that a power company wants to cut back on power.
If I want to crank my AC 24-7, June through September, I'm going to. It's my AC, my house, and my money.
Vulnerable teenagers plus sketchy people who hang out in libraries looking for prey equals not good. The school is setting itself up for assaults and lawsuits.
That'll be quite the cattle call, eh?
She's just setting herself up to sue the church for something stupid that SHE did. No one forced her into the hot tub.
And the point of this law is...? People in cars have to wait at red lights. Why are bicyclists any different? If bicyclists want to be treated as vehicles on the road, then they should have to abide by the same rules as other vehicles. Biking through red lights and stop signs is dangerous and I see way too many bikers doing it. Having a law saying they can legally do it is just asking for more bikers to be injured.
