This is a good proposal. I believe it will clarify the law, protect rightful use of self defense.
We used to own a youth service company and dealt with 100's of foster kids. We had many wonderful families and lots of great kids that benefited from the love, guidance and respect these families provided. We still have kids keep in contact with us. However, the State was the problem. The drugs as previously stated were so abused and over-prescribed, getting money from the state to pay the foster parents was a billing and bureaucratic nightmare and the rules and regulations were insane. E.g. We had kids that loved to work with animals and do farm and construction work around their homes but the state would insist that it was "child abuse' so rather than have the kids growing gardens or other projects they wanted them to sit around and watch video games and talk in groups about their problems constantly. After many years we finally gave up on the game and simply had friends of our kids live with us when needed. We loved to serve but again the government couldn't help without messing up the whole things.
