"One out of every nine children that comes in to be treated can't afford it." We too have been there for 3 months and just left yesterday. I would say 2 in 9 children there have questionable immigration status. PCMC has overcrowding and is the social hospital of the mountain west. I too like to think that all children should have health insurance. That's why I like programs like CHIP for tax paying families. But handing out free money and health care is not the way to do it.
Not if Comcast or Qwest have anything to say about it. Qwest CEO was quoted yesterday as saying "Customers don't want 100mb connections"! Wouldn't it be great if all your services (Phone, Internet, TV etc etc) were all delivered via one pipe and you could choose who you want to pay for the actual other services. Isn't this what the government payed the Telecom companies 10 years ago to do?
Wow... gezz thanks to the Semis for causing a road block so all those people behind them didn't die. What a stupid comment. I know this happens a lot in Parleys too. One tries to pass another that lost traction and gets stuck too... Very frustration, and something needs to be done to stop it.
Easy.. you mix a little arrogance with tardiness.
Did someone pay for this advertisement (scratch that news story)?
This is Gov. Jon Huntsman's fault... after all what kind of idiot thinks its a good deal to negotiate and behind the doors meeting and come out saying that hey are not going to do more (until I leave office). If you look close at all his work, it has insider deals written all over it. Gov. Jon Huntsman was not a good Governor. Heck of a politician though.
