Bill Probst is the oldest competitor at 62 years young, and Jack Sargant is the youngest player at 14.

Naomi Soifua is the second female to ever qualify for the men's state am. The Provo native who is committed to BYU joins Annie Young, who qualified in 2005, as the only female golfers to make the field.

Let's get started with our Uinta Golf Tip Of The Week. We continue drills to help you become a better player using a hybrid. Here's Thanksgiving Point Director of Golf Mark Whetzel to help you hit a hybrid off the tee.

Finally, Daniel Summerhays is back home at Davis Park in Kaysville after eight straight weeks on the PGA Tour. Daniel and his brother, Boyd, who is also his swing coach hosting their annual Boys and Girls Club of Weber & Davis County charity golf tournament. They raised nearly $80,000 for the kids on Wednesday. Jazz guard Rodney Hood was there. Hood has a special place in his heart for the Boys and Girls Club. He spent 13 years in the club in East Mississippi so he knows how important this is for the kids.

For Summerhays, he had a great month of June on the PGA Tour. Of the five tournament he played, he was in the final group in two of those tournaments with a chance to win his first PGA Tour event. But he didn't have the final round on Sunday that he would have liked, but he came oh-so-close.
