SALT LAKE CITY — The 2016-17 Utah Jazz season will be remembered for a lot of moments.
First and foremost, it marked the Jazz’s return to the NBA playoffs for the first time in five years — and they also won a first-round series for the first time in seven years.
But the season will also be marked by Rudy Gobert’s rise as one of the best defensive players in the league. Rodney Hood’s buzzer-beater in Dallas was among the team’s high points, as was Gordon Hayward’s all-star selection, and Joe Johnson putting the team on his back in the postseason series with the Clippers.
