Weber State outlasts Cal State Fullerton for CIT win

FULLERTON, Calif. — Zach Braxton's dunk with four seconds left put down the exclamation point, and Weber State held off Cal State Fullerton for the Wildcats' first postseason victory since 2013.

Braxton and Jeremy Senglin each scored 21 points, and Weber State's run in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament continues after an 80-76 win at Cal State Fullerton on Thursday night.

Kyndahl Hill added 18 points and 13 rebounds for the Wildcats (20-13), who rebounded from an overtime loss to North Dakota in the Big Sky tournament title game to continue their season.

Jerrick Harding supplied 10 points for Weber State, which advanced to the CIT finals in 2013 before a home loss to East Carolina.

Khalil Ahmad had 18 points to leader Fullerton (17-15), and teammate Kyle Allman supplied 17 points.
